Why we built SwipeStay

Booking a hotel had quietly become a chore. You open a dozen tabs, lose track of which place had the good photos, second-guess the price, and end up booking out of fatigue rather than excitement. We thought finding somewhere to stay should feel more like the fun part of planning a trip — not the part you put off.

So we made SwipeStay: a hotel-discovery app that shows you one stay at a time, full-screen, with real photos, genuine guest ratings and the nightly price right up front. Swipe right to save the places you love, left to skip the rest, and book your favourite in a tap.

What this site is for

Alongside the app, we publish practical travel guides — honest, fluff-free advice on booking hotels, saving money and choosing the right neighbourhood when you arrive. The same philosophy that drives the app drives the writing: respect your time, and help you make a good decision quickly.

How we make money

SwipeStay is free to use. When you choose to book a stay through one of our partners, we may earn a commission. That commission comes out of the partner's margin, not your pocket: you pay the same price you would booking directly. It also never influences which hotels we show you or the order they appear in.
